¿Se puede
entender la doctrina de la trinidad?
Esta es una pregunta esencial.
Para un cristiano el poder identificar a Dios es una enseñanza básica, pero si
no logramos entender quien es Dios nos sería imposible tener fe, puesto que
esta requiere “la demostración evidente de realidades aunque no se contemplen.” (Hebreos
11:1).

Si para un teólogo que lleva años estudiando la doctrina de la trinidad,
le es imposible entenderla y por ende explicarla satisfactoriamente, la idea de
que para un cristiano común se le haga comprensible o razonable dicha doctrina,
es imposible. Por lo tanto la doctrina de la trinidad solamente hace más difícil
para un cristiano el poder acercarse a Dios, aceptar la existencia de un Dios
que desea que usted lo conozca.

Sería absurdo decir que podemos conocer a Dios si este fuese
un misterio incomprensible o inefable como una trinidad; sin embargo las
escrituras no lo muestran así, lo muestran como un único ser el cual nos
permite entenderlo y conocerlo a fondo, descrito por los autores de las
escrituras con una sencillez admirable. Ya que la doctrina de la trinidad
tuerce el concepto de Dios y lo hace incomprensible e irrazonable no debe
formar parte de las creencias cristianas.
